Here is the video that i made
To create this we had one shot of the the two people sining the song all the way thought together at the parts when the people in the song are sining together. these took a few times to get used of the song but once we went thought the song a few times they managed to be able to lip sing all the words at the right time so it looked more like they was singing.
Once we filmed all of that we then filmed each of the singers singing their part of the song all the way thought the song until we got to the bit we needed to get to. we manage to do this all in one take so didn't have
Then we needed to get background dancers and singers so two people danced while we captured that and they sang when the background singers started singing.
The way to get the fade effect you need to click on the little mountain symbol on the bottom left corner of final cut which is shown on the left. to be able to make the effect happen you need different videos that you want the effect to happen to and then click the little mountain symbol then click on the pen tool. when you over at the bottom of the top track video and your mouse will change and then you click and drag upwards and the black lines will show and the more to the top the black line is the more that video will show then the videos below it. so you can create effects where it flows to one video to the next. the more to the bottom of the track then you will see the video below more. as shown below shows the effect of using this. 
You need to make sure you edit to the beat of the song so make sure it fades at the right time it looks normal and feels right. when you edit to the beat making sure the right person is singing right.
You also need to mark up where the lyrics start and when the person starts to sing the part. This is important because you don't want the song to start singing and then a few seconds after the person lip singing it. you want it to look as if they are singing. you can do this by putting the player head over where the lyrics start and press m to mark where it starts. Then you get the video of the people singing and when they start to sing the first line you mark it and where the two markers are you line them up and the rest of the video should match up with when the lyrics start. you also need to make sure you delete any sound from the videos you recorded so only the music of the song is going thought.Foo Fighters: The Pretender edit to the beat.
I had to edit to the beat with the song pretender where i made a story bored up to a certain part of the song of every time it changed shot. Then we photographed each of the pictures and then put them on adobe premiere pro. We got the video of The Pretender and placed it in the bottom left corner while having the photos bigger and on the right so you can see the video and each of the shot changes so the. while i as sorting out putting the each of the photo in line with the change of shot. i had to use the crop tool to cut of the end of the song
